Joanna Carter is a Consultant Software Engineer specialising in Object Oriented analysis, design and coding techniques. Her programming skills are strongest when using Delphi and C#, although she also has experience of several other languages. She makes extensive use of UML to design and document systems. Joanna is a member of the Borland User Group and a member of TeamBUG, the team of technical advisors within that group. She is the author of a book on Design Patterns for Delphi and writes regularly for the UK-BUG (Borland User Group) and DDG (.NET Developers Group) magazines; she has also written for The Delphi Magazine. As well as her writings, Joanna has been involved in the provision of presentations and training sessions for UK-BUG and DDG meetings. Most of her work involves helping companies to implement Object Oriented techniques by providing training and design consultancy services. Joanna has used Delphi since the first version, but is also involved in providing training and articles for those companies who want to use the newer C# language as well as Delphi for .NET. She is also the designer of an Object Persistence Framework and a Model View Presenter Framework for Delphi. |
